Rosette Bib Necklace Tutorial

 Supplies:
Cost about a $1.75 each if that
1/8 of a yard of fabric (I got duckcloth from Hobby Lobby)
Necklace chain or ribbon (mine is from Hobby Lobby)
Fabric glue or hot glue & glue gun
A piece of felt

*my sister showed me how to make these a while ago so I'm going from my memory...Thanks sis
Step 1:

Lay out your fabric and straighten the edges cut off the excess to make it a even rectangle.

Step 2:
Cut strips of fabric 1 1/2 inches wide use the full length of the 1/8 yard.

Step 3:
Iron the strips of fabric in half

Step 4:
Tie a knot at the end of the fabric....sorry for the horrible nails.

Step 5:
Hold right below the knot ready to wrap the fabric around using the knot as the center of the rosette.

Step 6:
Wrap the fabric around gluing as you go, twisting here and there to create the raw edges.

 Step 7:
When you get to the end put glue on the wrong side of the rosette and lay the remaining fabric of the strip over it.
 Cut the excess off.

Step 8:

You will repeat the steps until you have four large and two small (to make the small don't use the whole strip). Lay out your rosettes on a piece of felt. Glue the sides of the rosettes to each other. Then glue it on the felt except leave the small rosettes unglued. Insert the necklace chain and glue it in. Cut around the felt so you don't see it from the front.
 You're done!!!

Personalized Genealogy Chart

I've had many comments on my Genealogy chart and how I made it. I got the wonderful idea from my sister (who is awesomely creative) and made it for my young women family history lesson. Here it is...
